Leaving Summer behind having had great results with Global Herbs Flyfree on a mare who refuses to be sprayed with fly repellant, I decided to give Foraging Feed Topper a try. With the bare hedges and muddy grass, this mix had a delightful fragrance of Summer days and the ponies loved it. It enriched their Winter feed and it’s good to know it has nutrients they would normally forage for themselves all year round when these plants are thriving. It’s a great product and I will continue to use it until Spring.

Now that there's not much grass in the field, I was having real trouble with my cob barging to get to the grass along the side of the path when I was leading him to his stable. I bought the Foraging Feed Topper with the idea that if I met his needs for forage, he would stop being so desperate to get to the grass. It worked! Since adding the feed topper to his bucket feed he hasn't pulled towards the grass once, which means he's more focused on me when I'm leading him as his brain is with me rather than in his belly. He obviously loves the taste and licks his bowl clean.
