Job Description: 
As a Production Operative at Global Herbs Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. Candidates must be able to commute to our offices in Chichester, West Sussex. Primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment. 

  • Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks. 

  • Assembling goods on the production line, including labelling and packaging. 

  • Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures. 

  • Reporting any equipment faults or issues to the supervisor. 

  • Keeping the production area clean and organized. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Machine Operation: Efficiently operate machinery to maintain the flow of production. 

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure products meet quality standards. 

  • Assembly: Assemble products accurately and efficiently, adhering to production guidelines. 

  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues. 

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. 

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet production targets. 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. 

  • Basic understanding of production procedures and machine operation. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills. 

  • Willingness to work occasional weekend shifts. 

  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity are essential.
