I started feeding Milk Thistle when several horses on my yard developed high liver enzymes. Throughout this episode, which lasted most of a year, my mare’s enzymes remained normal - I put this down to the fact that I was quick in getting Milk Thistle in to her. I’ve never dared take her off it!
